Sanitise before your eyes

Problem: Pandemic hit Indian tourism Industry as it created havoc in the world. People were scared and stuck in their current locations due to lockdowns. OYO revenues started depleting drastically. And you cannot encourage people to travel in a raging pandemic (that's a no brainer). So how do you earn peoples trust and ask them to stay with OYO?

Solution: We focused on the people what they needed, "a safe space". OYO introduced Sanitised Before Your Eyes to communicate all the contact points in the property will be sanitised in front of customers at check-in. Apart from the standard sanitisation procedures.

My role: I was tasked with "how will you show people visually that these points are sanitised"? 

Process: After ideation, we locked on the sketches shown below and developed them along with the SBYE identity further. We decided to take the viewers directly to these touch-points. These visuals then adapted for multiple digital spaces like social media, web/app banners, emailers, push notifications to direct traffic towards the OYO app for booking. And that helped direct the daily active users and the revenue towards a positive direction.
